I need a good suggestion because I can't find anything I really want to read. I'd like a book with badass young women and maybe a princess with a dagger strapped to her thigh at a ball. Could be a murder mystery. Anything that doesn't have magic and gods and stuff. Just need something good before school starts again.

It sounds like you still want something fantasy adjacent? Or maybe historical? What kind of books do you like reading?
You could try maybe *Fingersmith* for something historical, with knives, and no magic. Is also thriller/mysteryish. Hard to tell given the lack of criteria though, some more hints would help!
