I finished Vengeful by V.E. Schwab today, after inhaling Vicious, Gallant and, a while ago, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. I particularly liked about Vicious and Vengeful that there’s no “pure good” or “pure evil” character, and that there was no romance heavy plot. Now I’m looking for books that can follow up on those two, and would welcome any suggestions.
I enjoy modern fantasy, sci-fi and dystopias. Other books I’ve read and liked recently:
Project Hail Mary (Andy Weir), Book of Night (Holly Black) and This Is How You Lose The Time War (A. El-Mohtar, M. Gladstone).
Thank you very much 🙂

What about her novel A Darker Shade of Magic and its sequels? They’re quite good
Uprooted by Naomi Novik
It doesnt do a whole lot of exploring the complexities but the protagonist does realize that good and bad choices do not make good and bad people.
