Books will always be better than their movies cause there’s no bad acting in books.

From Ask the dust (2006) to the to the Dune movies, no matter how true or false they are to the books they are not better. It’s simply because the actors in these films try to be the character while in book the characters just are what they are.

Exception = The books that are not that good to begin with ,example Godfather,Fight Club, Anything by Stephen King

What about:
Children Of Men = Both have different storylines

Jaws, Jurassic Park,The shinning ,No Country for Old Men(they have great acting/direction)= Books are better.
