I just finished an Asian art history class which spanned the histories from India to Cambodia to Japan, and I was just completely in love with it, and I’m looking for a book that feels like a trip to the continent. I know this is very broad, but I read a lot lol and don’t mind a lot of recommendations. Anything that really dials in on the art and culture and makes you feel like you’re there is what I’m going for, absolutely any recs that are related are welcome!!
Btw timing isn’t super serious, ancient-premodern is fine
