I’m in a book club and this month is non fiction. My problem is that a majority of the club member don’t want anything political, religious, or anything that will spark debate at all… it’s killing me personally because good non fiction almost always will have some aspects of these subjects because it’s realism.
Any suggestions would be fabulous because I’m at a loss…

Adam shoalts’ exploration books? Beyond the trees and alone against the north only speak to his experience.
Endurance. It’s about Shackleton’s quest to get to the South Pole.
What is the point of book club if you can’t debate? That’s stupid but whatever.
I’d recommend Dead Wake, by Erik Larson.
***Roughing It*** by Mark Twain chronicles his adventures in the American West in the 1860s.
