I just finished this book and I have to say…I didn't get it.
The writing style was beautiful. I'm a fan of unlikable characters. It was a super speedy read and I didn't even get bored given the largely plot-less story. But, I got to the end, and my overall feeling is: what's the point? What is about? What is the ending saying? It seems a little like it's trying to turn something enormously tragic into some trite lesson about how to live your life with purpose.
I feel like I'm not getting this book at all. Please, someone explain this one to me.
