I love Richard Francis Burton, Loved the lost city of z. Love reading about alpinist, and can handle a little arctic exploration. I also really like bike touring. Any major explorers I should be reading about?
Labyrinth of Ice by Buddy Levy is about a failed Arctic expedition and I was absolutely on the edge of my seat the entire time– immediately recommended it to my sister and she shed tears over it. It’s beautifully written and nonfiction.
