    1. * [Queens of the Abyss: Lost Stories from the Women of the Weird](https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/50815147), a collection of lesser known stories by different authors.

      * Anything by C. L. Moore. I’ve only read [Shambleau](http://baencd.freedoors.org/Books/The%20World%20Turned%20Upside%20Down/0743498747__21.htm) but as I understand it, femininity as an eldritch horror is a major theme across all her writing, and I haven’t managed to read anything else by her yet.

    2. You know, you might enjoy Satan: His Psychotherapy and Cure. The definition of eldritch horror is a little stretched in this case but I think it fits. This book still haunts me.
