I don't know if that title makes any sense. But I love when a book has highly specific details about a subculture, an industry, or a small "world"…
The Remains of the Day had highly specific information about the world of butlers, the structure and format of running a team of home servants in England.
Life of Pi had fun specific knowledge and deep dives into the specifics of running a zoo.
Any other books that dive you into a specific world?
