If you’re not a mood reader, how do you choose or prioritize your TBR?

Do you base it on genres, or do you categorize them differently and choose accordingly? Ex for categories, a prize winner, a short book, and so on.

I created an august TBR on bookstagram (i can’t post an image of the cute book lollipops I made) but I’m not sure where to start and I’d like to hear your strategies.
