Hi, I’m looking for a good romance fantasy book, could be a normal book or even on wattpad.
I’m searching for a slow romance that takes place in medieval times.
I would prefer a enemies to lovers type of book, which the male lead may be a villain and the girl a princess or just a villain and a village girl or also just childhood enemies in a village
I don’t want it to be cringey like “My kitten” and so on but just a sweet slow romance, the male lead can be cold and warm up to the female lead or the male lead ia someone that teases the female lead all times and jokes around with her but loves her.
It can be mature but it doesn’t need to.

Is regency romance close to what you’d want? If so the best I’ve ever read are Blackmoore and Edebrooke by Julianne Donaldson

Difficult because historical novel writers tend to stick to Renaissance/Tudor, Regency or Victorian. And you want fantasy, too!
I can suggest Karen Maitland for medieval fantasy that often includes bedroom scenes […] but tends to be short on ‘sweet romance.’ She’s very good but not really what you want. GRRM is also short on ‘sweet’ as well!
Tbh, medieval fantasy writers seem to like to include a lot of ‘spice’ but not much actual love.
