Looking for a new fantasy series to start. Any recommendations for either a low magic series
Or
A series with weapons created by magic but not magic wielding?
Have you read The Blacktongue Thief? It’s awesome, and there’s a prequel book coming next year with likely more after that.

The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. Low magic overall but plenty to tickle your fancy. Can’t recommend this series enough to any fans of fantasy.

Lois Macmaster Bujold writes good fantasy. There’s the Sharing Knife series ( four books) and the World of the Five Gods books (three novels and an ongoing series of novellas.
Both have limited magic. Also no wizards, dragons or elves.

If you haven’t read it yet, The Chronicles of Narnia (read in publication order instead of chronologically)
