With every seller essentially having their own “exclusive” edition with different covers, how do you keep track? I prefer when my series all match, so if I get a first book from a seller, I have to keep remembering to buy subsequent books from that seller. I don’t mind the different covers if they are super different, as it can allow people to choose one that may be more their style, but man when they are all slightly different it can be so hard.

I just got my Barnes and Noble copy of *A Curse for True Love* in the mail and I realized that it matches my signed copy of *The Ballad of Never After* but somehow my copy of *Once Upon a Broken Heart* is different and I’m not sure how that happened. I must’ve just remembered buying it at Barnes and Noble but didn’t realize the first book was the regular edition.

Even more annoying is I *prefer* the regular covers over the B&N covers but my BONA is a signed copy so clearly I won’t be getting rid of that.

The struggle of being a book collector.

(Even worse I started collecting a SE of a series before it finished and then the author stopped working with that seller and now I have half the series in that set but I just love them too much to get rid of them)

    1. I guess I’m “lucky” to live in Sweden where we have very few special editions, so this isn’t much of a problem.
I have a photo of my bookshelf, and knowing what the spine looks like is usually enough to go on to get a matching edition here.
