Looking for something similar to Nightrise by Anthony Horowitz (just that book specifically, not the whole series it’s from) looking for something more mature, though YA is also fine.

I liked the ideas of "conditioning" or psychological torment/horror that Nightrise had to offer but wished there was something more from that angle of the story. Thanks in advanced and am excited to see what you all recommend.

I'm also open to hearing recommendations for other psychological horror books (I really enjoyed the animated film Perfect Blue.)
