I only read books when English teachers told me to do, but I always felt most of the books that I read were boring, so I want to read books that might help me to learn new lessons or become mature.
for my preferences, I like The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman(my top favorite), The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque. These books taught me good lessons. I guess I like realistic fiction books.
Sorry to romance book lovers, but I don't enjoy the romance genre books. That doesn't mean I hate romance, but I don't enjoy romance books, so I would like to see books that are not centered on love.
