Dark/Gritty Western Suggestions?

I’ve been trying to get into some Westerns recently but honestly have no idea where to start. I’ve been a big fantasy fan recently, but I’m not looking for any fantasy Westerns for now – but to give an idea of the vibes I like, I really liked The Witcher and ASOIAF and Kings of the Wyld. Dark/gritty books with some humor thrown in are ideal to me!

Most of the Western shows I’ve watched are shows I watched with my grandpa years ago so I don’t really remember all the names, but recently I did like Slow West and I liked the vibes of Horizon: An American Saga (we can ignore how that movie did tho lol).

Any suggestions with gay characters would also be appreciated if they fit that vibe. I’ve had some trouble finding Westerns with that vibe that also have gay characters.
