I’m a high school student year 11 who has recently just read Raw by Scott Monk as a class task. Up until this book I haven’t properly read since primary school, however I really enjoyed reading this book and it made me want to try it out a bit further. Only problem is I don’t know where to start because I don’t know any books nor do I know what I like in a book. I suppose I’d just like a helping hand on where to start.
I don’t necessarily have many hobbies so I’m not too sure what I enjoy, as I mainly focus on school and academic achievement. If it helps at all I am enrolled in English Standard, Chemistry, Studies of Religion, Investigating Science, Maths Advanced, Maths Extension 1 and Physics. I don’t need to read a book relating to these however I’m very happy to explore and try out something different.

This question may be best addressed to your English teacher. They know you and may have a better idea of what would suit you. They can then refine further suggestions based on your feedback.
Having said that, Stephen King proved to be a good starting place for my son at your age. His style is easy to read and his plots are gripping, until they get gross!
Just keep trying new books until you find something you like. A common suggestion is to read the first 50 pages of a book, then give up if you are not enjoying it.
