I'm looking to compile a collection of Transgressive Literature and I was wondering if you had any recommendations. Most of the texts you see below deal with the transgression of social/moral/sexual norms and violence, but I'd also like to expand this collection to include texts/authors that seek to trangress epistemic or philosophical boundaries (such as Lovecraft or Moynihan). Strange and occult work is also welcome.
Thus far, my collection includes:
- – Leopold von Sacher-Masoch (Venus in Furs)
- – Marquis de Sade (Philosophy in the Boudouir)
- – Friedrich Nietzsche (The Antichrist)
- – Georges Bataille (Story of the Eye)
- – Pierre Klossowski (The Baphomet)
- – Jean Genet (Our Lady of the Flowers)
- – H.P Lovecraft (Call of Cthulu)
- – Antonin Artaud (Manifestos for a Theatre of Cruelty)
- – Nick Land (Fanged Noumena)
- – Reza Negarestani (Cyclonopedia)
- – Jason Bahbak Mohaghegh (Omnicide)
- – Thomas Moynihan (Spinal Catastophism)
