I am not a conspiracy theorist. But I was thinking about my bookshelves and I think I want to add a few books that deal with a conspiracy of some sort. Why? Because I don't have any, and I think it would be interesting to add some. No other reason, really. (Yes, I will read them, it's not just for display. LOL) I am open to all suggestions.
About the only conspiracy theories I currently believe is:
1) I don't think Lee Harvey Oswald killed John F. Kennedy
2) My dad was a Vietnam Vet, I know the military scientist at the time were asking for soldiers, sailors and airmen to come be a guinea pig in exchange for more time off or extra money. And what they were experimenting with,… I don't know, because my Dad refused to volunteer. LOL.
3) I believe that Agent Orange used in that war was not only harmful to those exposed to it, but it was passed on to the men's unborn children. ( The USA has maintained that only females could pass the harmful chemical to children, the men couldn't.)
Anyways, thank you for your time.

*Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK* by Gerald Posner. Oswald did it, and Posner explains the how and why.
*Why Intelligence Fails: Lessons from the Iranian Revolution and the Iraq War* by Robert Jervis. *“When one hears the sound of hoofbeats, should one think horses or zebras?”* The fact is, most people would never consider or even imagine the possibility of a dazzle of zebras, which illustrates, per Jervis, “why intelligence fails.”
*Dark Alliance: The CIA, the Contras, and the Crack Cocaine Explosion* by Gary Webb. A great too many people claim Gary Webb said things he didn’t say.
Are you looking for fiction or nonfiction? If fiction, are you looking for something about a real conspiracy theory or something made up by the author for the book?
