Okay, so I’ve done my search, and I’ve come up short in the specific type of book I need.

The main problem that most of these books help with are confidence, setting boundaries, self-care, and past trauma.

MY main problem is my constant fatigue that is caused by my various medical and mental health issues. My therapist can help me with trauma and boundary setting and the other things these books seem to deal with, but none of them seem to be geared towards people that are disabled at all. I can still work and would love to, but I struggle to get hired with little experience even though I have a degree. Without a graduate level degree, certifications, or experience, I apparently don’t stand a chance.

Are there any books for someone like me out there?

    1. I recommend this a bit on here, but *A Liberated Mind* by Steven Hayes is a fabulous self-help book, in my view. It’s an outline of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which is about accepting that life involves difficult, unpleasant, uncomfortable feelings and learning to live with them. There’s a chapter on chronic pain, and a couple more on other health issues, so that could be especially relevant.
