Think Conan, Star Wars, Cthulhu, Sherlock Holmes, and so on.

When I was a child, ages ago, I loved Conan. I devoured anything Conan I could find. Books, movies, comic books. You name it. I still have a weak spot for it even today.

I've also read some pretty entertaining tie-in type novels for other stuff, as well. Heir to the Empire and so on. They should have based the newer Star Wars trilogy on those, but I digress.

No, none of these are going to be high literature, I'm sure, and that's a-ok! It's nice to turn your brain off and just have fun sometimes.

So what books like this have you had fun with, or had recommended? Thanks!
