Hi, I'm new here, sorry if I do something wrong!
I'm a huge fan of literary fiction – my favourites include Kafka, Camus and Dostoevsky. I love the beautiful prose of their books, touching very deep and huge themes and topics, while staying simple and close to the human life. I would really like to broaden my horizons and try something new – maybe something more modern?
I've also read One Hundred Years of Solitude (loved it), The Housekeeper and the Professor (Yoko Ogawa; amazed by it), Lolita (I appreciated the art, but wouldn't read it again) and recently I've finished To The Lighthouse (it was beautiful, but not quite what I was looking for).
I'll try to link my Goodreads profile in the comments.
Thank you!
