I really want to read the Odyssey and the Iliad mostly, but sexual content is a huge turn off for me. It’s not something I enjoy, and I’m yet to find any versions that don’t include that kind of thing outside of kids books. Any tellings of these stories that skip or just reference the sexual elements instead of going into detail?

    2. There’s a book called Circe that has one sex scene and I recall it being mild, at very least. The book is really good and worth checking out. The author has written other modern retellings of Ancient Greek lit, but I can’t vouch for it.
