I know there's Mastery by Robert Greene. But I'm looking for a less 'instructional' book than that. If that makes sense.
I also know that there are books by famous athletes written by ghostwriters. But in terms of literary skill these books (in my opinion) are no good.
What I'm looking for (if it exists, that's why I'm here) would be a mix of these two 'types' of books. Be it fictional or non-fictional.
Maybe something like the concept of the Blue Period manga/anime. In the story, a boy decides to learn how to paint and we follow the whole process of his journey.
