I’m looking for a rich, well written fantasy book. With well developed characters. That is non-western centric (No generic medieval stuff). No young adult books please. A bonus would be if it makes you think and it’s kind of philosophical. I would also like it to not be male centric as well with fully fleshed out female characters. I’d prefer a female main character. I’d especially appreciate if it had elements of African culture.

Try the Dune trilogy. You can buy it as one book.
The general overarching philosophical theme is
“the inevitability of fate”
Lots more between the lines though.
Avoid if you don’t like Sci-fi
