    1. The Wilderness Cure by Mo Wilde. Author spends a year living entirely off foraging. Gave me a deeper appreciation for nature and the changing seasons and opened my eyes to quite how surrounded we are by edible food even in suburban areas.

    2. I recently read The Death of Ivan Ilyich by Tolstoy. It portrays a consciousness approaching its end.

Letters form stoic by Seneca. This book presented me to Stoicism 10 years ago or so, it changed how I view problems in life and being more resilient .
It’s a short book but awesome

Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes.

In a lot of instances, people do not choose unfortunate circumstances for themselves.
In the case of this book, Algernon and Charlie Gordon were both mentally impeded and had a low intelligence relative to others. As a result, Charlie was not treated the best by the people around him. And he couldn’t even tell that people treated him horribly because his low IQ made him unable to understand that.

      The lesson here is:
Extend grace to people even if you feel they’re painfully stupid and you can’t stand it. They didn’t choose to be that way.
      Live and let others live.
