I need a book or two or three that teaches everything about statistics, how to use statistics in various fields of life, especially researching in any topic, skimming through data online, teaches all the statistical methods, how to look out for the pros and cons of statistics used anywhere and how to catch malpractice, if any.
If there is a new statistical method what could be done to understand it better based on previous statistical knowledge.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.
