I’m a fairly voracious reader usually. A series of traumatic shit happened to me over the past week and I’ve had trouble escaping into three different books I’d been looking forward to.
I enjoy mysteries, thrillers, historical fiction, but willing to give anything a try- especially if it hooked you instantly. Thanks!

The Thursday Murder Club, by Richard Osman. First in a 4-novel series, all highly recommended. Great characters, gripping plots, and the cause of many late nights/early mornings up reading.
Galatea by Madeline Miller is the most engaging thing I’ve read recently. It’s a short story that left me fiending for more
