What books have you loved that are about children but are mainly written for adults? I realize some I’ve listed below are also written for and enjoyed by young people. It’s just that I’m in the mood for rather serious or deep stories rather than comical or lighthearted. Disturbing content is ok, but I don’t like a lot of violence or horror.
