I had read some of her books in the 90s, but nothing after that… I think Barr turned 50 in 2000, was wondering if her books after that time, does her character discuss aspects of being middle aged in the park service or dealing with middle age? Or is that kind of glossed over? I'm not sure if her character aged throught the series or not.
I'm looking for fiction books with characters that are 50 plus and coping with aging/menopause, written by authors who have experienced menopause. I think Nevada Barr is now in her 70s.
