books similar to a game “what remains of Edith Finch”

i am currently obsessed with this story and i would love to read a book similar to this. similar ina sense that there are a lot of characters, many stories, some spooky business, maybe even an abandoned old house.

i know there's a book someone wrote something like "suddenly i was a shark" and no that's not what i want.
