When I was a preteen I used to read a lot then suddenly stopped, now I can't read more than a few pages of any book without getting bored or confused by what I'm reading, then I try to start from the beginning and get frustrated. I really dislike that. I would like to read a lot more, I tried reading children's books as an start but I think they're a little too childish for me

What are some books that are easy to read for a beginner?
I'm really ashamed of my current situation

    1. I had the same problem. The book that got me back into it was The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco. It’s definitely YA, but not so YA that I have to stop to cringe at my teenage self, if you know what I mean.

The first line was something like, **”Let me be clear: I never meant to raise my brother from his grave, though he may claim otherwise.”** I didn’t look back after that, I was hooked.
