Historical non fiction that reads like a novel.

Just finished "The Hot Zone". Enjoyed it. Started very strong but ended with a bit of a limp and a whimper, but I suppose that's a good thing when it's based on real events haha. Crisis averted!

Anyways, I really liked the way the book was written, 90% of the book was written as if it were a novel but then it would be interspersed with really matter of fact blurbs and diatribes about the science and history etc, before cutting back to the story.

What do you recommend.
