Does anyone know any good books that deal with the history of eugenics and perhaps immigration rulings in the US? I don’t want one about specific cases but rather one that spans the years 1880-1965 for example and explains the origins of the idea, the main characters who were involved at the time, and perhaps also with the ones who crafted and voted for eugenics legislation to pass and the ones who repealed it. A bonus would be some commentary on how that affected immigration laws too.
