Books set in a boarding school without fantasy elements?

Hullo! I was rereading childhood books, and reread 'My Sister Jodie' & 'Double Act' by Jacqueline Wilson, and some 'Malory Towers' books by Enid Blyton, and am looking for similar stories to enjoy!

My favourite elements of these books are the character driven stories, boarding school settings (though very brief in Double Act), and descriptive passages.

Any reccomendations similar to these stories, or that you think I may enjoy? Thank you!
