I was wondering if there were any books that talk about the differences for American businesses that wanted to sell to Japan, and/or the same situation for Japanese businesses that wanted to sell to America. I'd especially love to read some oral histories or individual peoples' stories – "when I had to present to Japanese Company X, I was stunned by Y", or "I wasn't prepared for how Americans would constantly Z". Things like that, about how things actually got done and what the culture shocks were like. Any and all levels – boardrooms, construction sites, factory floors and loading docks, everything.

I'm mostly curious about the pre-Bubble or pre-East Asian Economic Crisis period. I'd love it if it was available on non-Kindle ebook platforms but physical media is fine too. I'm not looking for scholarly textbooks, just interesting reading.
