Just forced my way through the stranger by Camus and ditched on the road by Kerouac found it so dull and poorly written.
Huge fan of
1984 and George Orwell's works
Remains of the day and Kazuo Ishiguros works
Matt Haigs books
Recently enjoyed the Hearts invisible furies
For a guy in his late 20s. If that makes a difference. Thanks!

David Mitchell might be up your street, or A Thousand Acres by Jane Smiley
Recently went through a rut where I DNF’d like 4 books back to back that I *should* have liked.
Finally picked up and finished {{A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers}}. It’s a nice short, low stakes, feel good read.
