Super strong and morally grey MMC with a soft spot for the FMC

Hi guys! I'm looking for a book (preferably historical or fantasy romance) in which the MMC is the typical brutal badass, but has a soft spot for his FMC.

I just read The Divine and the Cursed and it stole my heart. Is anything out there which has similar writing and story?
