Trying to find a book I read early 2000’s
Was part of a series I think at least 3 books
About a park/forest ranger in Midwest, dealing with alien conspiracy. Men in black etc.
Main character was a park ranger had a dog that was killed , a best friend that was thought killed who came back in book two was a action thriller
Any help would be appreciated as I would like to find and read and finish this series
