I’ve been wanting to see if a book like this exists. I’m thinking romance in the middle of a war, kind of like this “patriarchal utopia” where men rule but actually protect women from evil and care for them. Like, truly. Warriors (men and women), monogamy, a very pure romance, criticism of misogyny, horses, swords, all of that. Extra points if it’s stereotypically Middle Age-ish, and if the setting is more MENA/Southern European.
I would like to read a novel that explores this main idea that I’ve talked about. It’s silly but it makes me curious. But I think it may be too specific so anything remotely similar would be appreciated!
