So I’ve been reading a bit of McCarthy and I read “All the Pretty Horses” and absolutely loved it. I figured I would keep on reading the trilogy but I am just struggling to get enthused about reading it.
I’ve only got like a 100 pages left but I just don’t care about the characters. The story seems to just meander around with no real intention, and while parts of it are really captivating, only the whole I just find myself skimming the pages.
Plus there is a significant amount in Spanish that I just don’t understand and I feel like that takes me out of the story as well
Trying to decide where I want to finish it or not. Is the last book worth reading?
