I'm having a hard time focusing on novels right now. I think short stories might be helpful for my brain. My favorite reads are, "Grapes of Wrath", "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb, "Amy and Isabelle" by Elizabeth Strout, "Anywhere But Here" by Mona Simpson, anything by James Michener, "Lonesome Dove", and "The Bell Jar".
