I’m about a third of the way through Gabrielle Zevin’s wildly popular novel and I can’t help but think of similarities between the story, writing style and even protagonist of T&T&T as being ridiculously similar to Hanya Yanagihara’s A Little Life. It’s weird but somehow seems very unsubtle to me. Scoured the internet but can’t seem to find this opinion elsewhere? Thoughts anyone?
I also by no means intend to reduce any author or their work, both books are wonderfully unique and tell beautiful stories.
