Hi all,
What are your summer reading lists for this year? Also if you have to compile an all time summer reading list what would that be?
For me, my current summer list has some of the following:
Some James Michener books, the Athenian books from Conn Iggulden, and the Shining from Stephen King, Lonesome Dove and Neuromancer.
I am in a bit of a slump currently so I am not sure what books will I really manage to get to.
If I had to do an all time summer list the ones I can think of are:
– Norweigan Wood; The Wind up bird chronicles, What I talk about when I talk about running, Shogun/Tai-pan/Noble House from Clavell, any collection of short Stories from Stephen King, Dandelion Wine, The Cowards from Josef Skvorecky (although that one is more of a spring vibe from me), Islands in the stream from Hemingway.
And thats all I can think of currently.
