It’s a bit tricky to explain, but I’m looking for novels that themselves are, whether it’d be through manipulation of information or some other means, the driving force of conflict. The book or story contained within must hate or revile the fact there is a reader to such an extent that it will do anything it can to make sure you can’t approach it comfortably.
