So, I don't read a lot of novels. I do read a good deal of manga/comics, but that's about it. After school ended and I wasn't forced to read anymore, I stopped for the most part, even though I always excelled at it (like, in the way that I'm autistic/ADHD and the class was always going too slow for me and my verbal comprehension IQ is a little under 150). But now, at 23, I wanna get back into it. I was looking into it, and some titles I came across that interested me were House on the Cerulean Sea, Dreadful, How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying, and Cities of Smoke and Starlight. My biggest intetests include Star Wars, Marvel/DC, anime/manga, and video games. My tastes have a wide range, from whimsical to really deep stuff that beats my emotions over the head with a steel chair. What recommendations might you have?
Edit: Oh, I should probably mention some of my favorite stuff. Some of my favorite anime include One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Hunter x Hunter, and some of my favorite (story based) video games include the Final Fantasy games, NieR games, the new God of War games, Hades, and I'm currently really loving Persona 3 Reload

There are also a ton of star wars books and DC/Marvel graphic novels!
Have you read some of the light novels that are set in some of your anime worlds?
You might like Brandon Sanderson novels especially mistborn based on your video game preferences.
Iron Druid might also pique your interest as well.
You might also like the novels set in the forgotten realms (the D&D world books)
