I’m pretty fluent in English(not my first language) but I would like to read some ‘fancy’ book to improve vocabulary, some fancy words and phrases and with a pretty good storyline too… any recommendations?
Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. Until this book I’ve never had to open a dictionary while reading before. And I literally read the dictionary as a child. The authors vocabulary is truly as inspirational as it is frustrating.
As for the story, it’s a bit of a slow complex book but it’s also written into me permanently.
