I used to be so flippant about death (I'm in the 'when you die, you die. there's nothing after' camp). But lately I've been thinking about it a lot, in a way that make me really fear nothingness after death. Is there any book that can help me out of this mindset? I'm thinking about something upbeat and cheery to snap me out of it, but if you have a more introspective suggestion I wouldn't say no.

I specifically said fiction because I'm afraid the thread will be flooded with self-help book, which is the genre that is very hard for me to get into. But if you think there really will be anything that will work, I might reconsider.
