I've never been big on books…specially because I have a ton of trouble focusing on what I'm reading if it's not immediately captivating for me. My mind wanders and I read what's on the pages but I retain almost nothing so I have to go way back and try hard to focus on what I'm reading. But I really really want to get into books/audiobooks because it seems quite relaxing and healthy for the mind. So does anyone have any recommendations for a book to start with that would be easy for me to follow through with? I have heard and read the alchemist on audible and I loved it. I also read the little prince, and gossamer. Both books I remember fondly. Other than that, every other book I've read has been for an assignment and not interesting for me. Maybe that can give you an idea of some sort of taste I might have when it comes to books (or lack thereof, lol)? Any and all recommendations will be looked into and appreciated. Thank you.

Also look into Brandon Sanderson, he has two really popular fantasy series but also some good fantasy stand alone books.
