Since I was a child I always felt a deep connection to people who were always on the road, either because it was their way of life or also because society forced them. I know that a lot of what my little mind dreamt of is mostly a naive and romantic perspective of a dreamer, and I am very much aware about the difficulties that for example Romani people have to face.

Sometimes I discover stories from people who tell both the difficulties and the beautiful side that comes with it. Especially ancient knowledge that is passed from generation to generation, being close to nature and a sense and knowing about magic.

I'd love to find books that make me dream a bit like back when I was that little girl who knew so early that she would never find a place that feels like home.
    Could be fiction or non-fiction.
I know this sounds stereotype but I have this fascination for fortune telling, old songs and stories passed from the elders, fortune telling and handreading, painted wagons and the struggle of outsiders and free minded spirits.

One of the most beautiful books I'd read was Wayward from singer Vashti Bunyan. Something like this for example.
Thank you very much for your recommendations!
